1. Project Sponsor
This is the person or group of persons who has an authority over the project. The sponsor works closely with Project manager by providing funds and other resources, resolving the requested changes and approves deliverables.

This is an individual person who has given an authority to manage a project and ensures that with given resources, he or she meets the completion of the project successfully within the specified time and under budget. The project manager leads the team and makes decisions for the project.

3. Project Team
These are individuals with different expertise who work on the deliverables in full time or part- time basis depending on the nature of the project. They can be from inside the organization or from different organizations.

4. Stakeholders
These are the groups of people who have positive and negative interests of the project. They can be from internally (within the organization), or from externally (such as Government organizations, Clients, Suppliers, Competitors etc.)

Example # 1: Construction a family house in Tanzania
• Project Sponsor is you (because you are the one who provides funds and resources)
• Project Manager is xxxxx ( someone whom you select as a leader of the construction team)
• Project team are xxxxxx (all the people who are involved in the construction until the house is complete and ready for a living)
• Stakeholders are neighbors, community leader, Government, Tanesco, Dawasco, Tanroads etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
